Woodlands High School theater, speech team competes in first tournament

The Woodlands High School theater and speech team competed in its first tournament of the season Friday and Saturday, Sept. 28-29.

The swing tournament allowed students to compete twice in the same weekend.

Aaron Evans and Christy Beauchemin won third place in duet acting at both tournaments and have qualified for the TFA State Competition in March.

Casey Hale and Jonah Yohana won second place in duet acting.

Andrew Hollinger and Madison Pugh won seventh place in both tournaments.

Coming in eighth in duet acting were Adeline Breaux and Faith Fryer and Rachel Schardt and Molly Much.

Ashley Long won third place in dramatic acting.
