Interfaith of The Woodlands volunteers assist seniors with service day
More than 130 volunteers assisted area seniors at 60 different sites as part of the The Woodlands’ Serving Our Seniors day on Saturday, Oct. 13.
Interfaith of The Woodlands has announced that its Serving Our Seniors (S.O.S.) annual day of service held on Saturday, Oct. 13 assisted 50 seniors at 60 different sites.
More than 130 volunteers spent one day serving our community seniors through various projects such as fence repair, painting and yard work.
Nonprofit social service agency Interfaith of The Woodlands provides counseling, information and referral, a food pantry, senior services, a clothes closet and more. Qualifying individuals in The Woodlands, south Montgomery County and the villages of Creekside Park and Sterling Ridge can receive aid. Its offices are located at 4242 Interfaith Way.
