Owl-O-Ween scheduled at W.G. Jones State Forest
The Friends of Texas Wildlife will present its fourth annual Owl-o-Ween: A Day in the Forest fundraiser from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at W.G. Jones State Forest in The Woodlands.
The family event will feature games, prizes, food, music, photo booth, bubble runners, student arts contest, bungee jumping, the Houston Zoomobile, face painting, vendors and a pumpkin patch, according to a press release.
Admission to the event is free and all attraction ticket sales will support of the care of injured, orphaned and displaced native wildlife in Montgomery and surrounding counties.
W.G. Jones Forest is on FM 1488 just north of The Woodlands, one-and-a-half miles west of I-45.
Friends of Texas Wildlife is a nonprofit organization established to support the rehabilitation of native Texas wildlife and the coexistence of wildlife and people through education.
