Woodlands incident report, Oct. 9
The following incidents were reported by local authorities for the week of Oct. 1-8:
District 1: North County
Oct. 1, 2:02 a.m.: A disturbance at a residence on South Leeshore Drive was reported. A deputy then found an intoxicated 30-year-old female, of Willis, on location. She was arrested and taken to jail.
Oct. 1, 8:35 a.m.: A deputy was sent to the 12000 block of Canal due to an intoxicated 53-year-old male, of Willis, banging on doors and causing a disturbance, according to the report. He was arrested and taken to jail.
Oct. 2, 1:23 a.m.: A deputy responded to a disturbance at a residence on Nicklaus to find an intoxicated 29-year-old female, of San Antonio, who had been in a verbal argument with a male. She was arrested and taken to jail.
Oct. 2, 12:39 a.m.: A 32-year-old male, of Shepherd, was arrested in the 18900 block of Highway 105 East and taken to jail on an assault warrant and a failure to appear warrant after the deputy visited the address to investigate a disturbance call.
Oct. 2, 2:26 p.m.: A deputy, on warrant service, arrested a 45-year-old man, of Willis, from a residence on Canal. He was arrested in an incidence of burglary of a coin-operated machine.
Oct. 3, 12:20 a.m.: A deputy stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 11800 block of Calvary Road and found the 28-year-old male driver, of Willis, to be in possession of marijuana and a controlled substance. A fake motor vehicle inspection sticker was also displayed on the vehicle, according to the report. The deputy also found that the male driver had two motions to revoke probation warrants for DWI out of Montgomery County. He was transported to jail.
Oct. 3, 11:38 a.m.: While investigating a trespass, a deputy arrested a 46-year-old woman, of Willis, from a location on Interstate Highway 45 at Calvary Road on two traffic warrants out of Montgomery County. She was taken to jail. The deputy was investigating a trespass.
Oct. 5, 11 p.m.: A deputy was notified of an intoxicated male walking in traffic in the area of FM 1484 and Highcrest Boulevard. The deputy located the 18-year-old, of Conroe, and took him to jail.
Oct. 5, 10:30 p.m.: A deputy was sent to a disturbance at Fieldstone, where he observed a 46-year-old man leaving in a vehicle. He was stopped in the 5700 block of Woodland Lake Drive, where the deputy learned he had an invalid driver's license. The deputy returned to the original residence and found that an 18-year-old man, of Willis, had an open warrant for possession of marijuana. Both were arrested and transported to jail.
Oct. 6, 5:21 p.m.: Two deputies responded to a residence on Crystal Forest Drive in reference to an assault. According to the report, a man had banged on the homeowner's door, then kicked it in and assaulted the homeowner. A 37-year-old man, of Conroe, was arrested on a burglary with intent to commit assault charge as well as a failure to appear warrant.
Oct. 7, 12:25 a.m.: A 57-year-old woman, of Willis, was arrested and taken to jail from a residence on East Summerchase Circle on a motion to revoke probation for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon warrant.
DISTRICT 2: South County
Oct. 1: A deputy was dispatched to a disturbance in the 12000 block of White Oak Pass, where it was determined one of the involved parties, a 27-year-old Conroe man, had an active arrest warrant. He was taken into custody.
Oct. 2: A deputy was dispatched to a disturbance on Raestone, where an assault had occurred. A 27-year-old man, of Spring, was arrested on charges of assault-family violence and interference with an emergency phone call.
Oct. 2: A 39-year-old man, of Spring, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant after a deputy, in the 100 block of Valleywood, arrived on an investigation.
Oct 2: Deputies were dispatched to Richards Road due to a disturbance but found none. They later located the caller at a pay phone, where she initially denied calling 911. Further investigation revealed the caller, a 23-year-old woman, of Spring, had been upset with others at the complex and sent a text stating the police were coming. She was arrested on a charge of false alarm.
Oct. 3: A deputy was dispatched to a welfare concern in the area of Rayford Road and Fox Ravine. He then located two men who both reportedly showed signs of intoxication. A 45-year-old man, of Spring, and a 27-year-old man, of Nacogdoches, were arrested on charges of public intoxication.
Oct. 5: A sergeant was dispatched in the 25000 block of Interstate Highway 45 on a welfare concern and found a man who appeared to be sleeping in a hallway. EMS was summoned, and it was determined the man, a 36-year-old of Houston, was intoxicated. He was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
Oct. 6: A deputy was dispatched to motor vehicle crash in the 32000 block of FM 2978, where he found a 28-year-old man, of Magnolia, had an active arrest warrant. He was taken into custody.
Oct. 6: A deputy Fruge was dispatched in the 14000 block of Horseshoe Bend, where he found and detained a trespasser who had two active arrest warrants. He was taken into custody and issued a trespass warning.
Oct. 7: A sergeant reportedly observed a male staggering in the feeder of Interstate Highway 45 and Sawdust Road. The 65-year-old man, of Spring, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
Oct. 7: A sergeant met with a Harris County deputy at Interstate Highway 45 and Rayford roads to take custody of a 26-year-old Spring woman who had an arrest warrant. She was taken into custody.
Oct. 7: A deputy was dispatched in the 25000 block of Interstate Highway 45 due to a disturbance. He met with the 27-year-old man, of Main Sedan, Kan., and charged him with public intoxication.
DISTRICT 3: East County
Oct. 2: A deputy was dispatched to the Porter Walmart, where he met with loss prevention and learned that the suspect had reportedly attempted to steal a $20 ink cartridge. A 19-year-old Kingwood man was arrested and charged with theft.
Oct. 4: A deputy was dispatched to Live Oak Square, where he learned that a 51-year-old Porter woman had allegedly grabbed the victim and threw her to the ground. The suspect was arrested and charged with assault.
Oct. 3: A deputy was dispatched to the Porter Walmart, where he learned a suspect, who had been given a prior trespass warning, had returned. An 18-year-old woman, of Porter, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.
Oct. 3: During a traffic stop after failure to use a turn signal, a deputy conducted a vehicle search and allegedly found methamphetamine in a can of tobacco. A 28-year-old man, of Livingston, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Oct. 7: A deputy was dispatched to Firetower Road, where he learned that the victim and suspect had gone to a bar and became involved in an argument after leaving. According to the victim, the suspect had assaulted her so she jumped from the car and ran to a nearby home for assistance. The 28-year-old suspect, of Conroe, fled but was later apprehended at his residence, arrested and taken to jail.
Oct. 8: A deputy was dispatched to Coach Light Street where he arrested a 49-year-old woman, of New Caney, on a charge of assault-family violence. According to the report, the victim reported being punched in her face several times.
DISTRICT 4: West County
Oct. 8: A deputy on FM 1774 conducted a traffic stop, spoke with a 17-year-old male driver and reportedly found marijuana inside the vehicle. The subject was taken into custody.
Oct. 7: A deputy spoke with a 23-year-old male standing in front of his vehicle that was parked in the westbound lane of Hardin Store Road. Paramedics advised the deputy that they had found the subject asleep in his vehicle and believed the suspect to be intoxicated. The subject was arrested and taken to jail.
Oct. 7: A deputy attempted to locate a 30-year-old man, who had a felony warrant, in the Hazy Hollow subdivision. The subject was not at his residence, but the deputy saw him running toward a wooded area. Later, while checking the subdivision, the deputy received information that the suspect was at another residence, where he was found hiding in a bedroom. The suspect was taken into custody for the warrant and an evading arrest charge.
Oct. 5: A deputy was dispatched to Towering Oaks due to a reported assault where he made contact with a 21-year-old woman. Dispatch advised she had an active warrant on assault causing bodily injury. She was taken into custody.
Oct. 4: A 43-year-old man was placed into custody after a deputy was dispatched to the Magnolia Hills subdivision on a felony warrant service for the man.
Oct. 4: A 29-year-old man was arrested after a small amount of marijuana was allegedly found in his vehicle during a traffic stop after he failed to use a turn signal.
Oct. 4: A traffic stop on Highway 249 resulted in a 41-year-old man being taken into custody for driving without a valid license. A check on the 20-year-old female passenger showed two felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant, so she was also taken into custody.
Oct. 2: A deputy, looking for a man who had run from another deputy in the area of Misty Meadow and Blue Bonnet Lane in the Hazy Hollow subdivision, located a group of men. One was identified as a 39-year-old with an active warrant for failure to pay fines and/or court costs. He was taken into custody.
DISTRICT 5: Northwest County
Oct. 4: A deputy was dispatched to East Forrestal regarding a criminal trespass complaint after a man was passed out inside a homeowner's fenced back yard. The subject was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass and taken to jail.
Oct. 5: A man and woman were arrested on charges of assault and taken to jail after deputies were dispatched to Pine Ridge and learned a physical altercation had taken place.
Oct. 6: A traffic stop in the 18100 block of State Highway 105 West resulted in a man reportedly failing several field sobriety tests and being arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated. He was taken to jail.
Oct. 7: A man sitting in a vehicle parked in front of a closed business in the 13800 block of State Highway 105 West was arrested on an outstanding warrant and taken to jail.
Oct. 8: A traffic stop along Point Aquarius Boulevard at FM 1097 resulted in a male driver being charged with driving while intoxicated and taken to jail.
DISTRICT 6: The Woodlands
Oct. 3: A 48-year-old man, of Spring, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated near Sylvan Forest Drive after someone reported a reckless driver. He was taken to jail.
Oct. 4: A 23-year-old man, of Houston, reportedly attempted to steal $898 worth of watches from Macy's in the 1200 block of Lake Woodlands Mall. He was charged with theft and taken to jail.
Oct. 4: A 17-year-old driver and his 18-year-old female passenger were charged with driving while intoxicated following an accident at the intersection of Panther Creek Drive and Tanglebrush. The driver, of Spring, had failed to make the turn onto Panther Creek and crashed into the ditch. The woman, of The Woodlands, was observed trying to free the vehicle from the ditch when law enforcement arrived. According to the report, both failed field sobriety tests, were charged with driving while intoxicated and transported to jail.
Oct. 5: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle in the area of West Cottage Green where a 16-year-old driver was allegedly found to have two vacuum-sealed bags containing marijuana. He was taken into custody for possession and taken to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility.
Oct. 5: A 24-year-old Woodlands man was taken into custody after a traffic stop on Woodlands Parkway near Falcolnwing. He allegedly had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his vehicle and failed standardized field sobriety tests. The man was taken into custody.
