Football practice is practical experience

Katherine Beeman hopes to earn a nursing degree and work at a children’s hospital in Texas. She knows she wants to care for children, and she practices by helping out on the sidelines at football practices. “I enjoy being able to look after others and tend to their needs,” she says. One of her favorite things to do after school is watch movies with her family. “After a hard day, it’s fun to relax and unwind with my family and a good movie,” she says.
