Weekly sales roundup for The Woodlands, week ending Sept. 16

There were 23 sales in The Woodlands for the week ending Sept. 16, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 7 English Heather Place. Susan Pifer Craft and Thomas Cunningham sold the home to Charles S. Hughes and Linda A. Hughes on Sept. 16. The 4,602-square-foot, 4.5-bath home was built in 2002 and is located in the Village of Sterling Ridge neighborhood, in the Village of Sterling Ridge subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 19 Lenox Hill Drive to John Douglas Anderson and the sale of 107 E. Cove View Trail to Cynthia Elaine Grossenbacher.

The Village of Sterling Ridge neighborhood had the most sales in the area with 16, followed by Village of Indian Springs with three and The Village of Creekside Park with three.

Sales volume was 14.8 percent lower than the previous week and 32.3 percent lower than the same week in 2011. The Woodlands has averaged 36 sales per week during the last 12 months.
