The Woodlands High School feeder schools to host Parent Series
The elementary and intermediate feeder schools for the Woodlands High School will host a Parent Series of presentations through the school year.
The feeder schools working together consist of Buckalew, Bush, Deretchin, Galatas, Glen Loch, Mitchell, Powell and Tough. Parents from any of the eight feeder schools are encouraged to attend the presentations.
On Tuesday, Oct. 23, the topic will be Internet Safety and Bullying Prevention. The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Deretchin Elementary, 11000 Merit Oaks Drive, Spring.
On Tuesday, Nov. 27, the topic will be Helping Students Be Successful. The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Bush Elementary School, 7420 Crownridge Drive, The Woodlands.
On Tuesday, Feb. 5, the group will offer a State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness Overview. The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Mitchell Intermediate, 6800 Alden Bridge Drive, Spring.
Lastly, on Tuesday, March 5, the group will offer a Love and Logic Introduction. The presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Tough Elementary, 11660 Crane Brook Drive, Spring.
