Bush Elementary School receives Texas Honors Circle Award

Bush Elementary School is being honored with the Texas Comptrollers 2012 Texas Honors Circle Award.

The award honors schools and school districts showing exemplary success in academic achievement by cost-effective means. Recognized schools spend less money than most educational facilities while maintaining a record of academic excellence.

Using statistics from the 2012 Financial Allocation Study for Texas (FAST), 329 schools and 45 school districts received the Texas Honors Circle Award for high marks.

All award recipients achieved a five-star FAST rating, an accolade reached by only four percent of all Texas school districts.
