Montgomery County Sheriff's Office blotter, Sept. 11

The following incidents were reported in Montgomery County between Sept. 5 and Sept. 11:

District 1: North County

DRUGS
On Sept. 6, a deputy attempted to stop a four-wheeler on County Line Road. The deputy reported that the driver refused to stop. After a short pursuit, the 22-year-old male from Cleveland was arrested on charges of evading, possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone) and a bond revocation warrant out of Montgomery County.

On Sept. 9, a deputy stopped a vehicle on a traffic violation in the 12900 block of Highway 105 East. The male driver was found to be operating the vehicle with an invalid driver's license. The 40-year-old male from Beaumont was arrested at 5:35 a.m. on charges of having a fictitious registration and possession of marijuana.

THEFT
On Sept. 5, a deputy was sent to a residence on McRae Lake in reference to a disturbance. The deputy learned that after an argument a female suspect went to the complainant's truck and allegedly removed the battery. The female suspect was located and detained. The 19-year-old female from Conroe was arrested at 12:45 p.m. on a charge of theft.

District 2: South County

BURGLARY
On Sept. 7, a deputy responded to a reported burglary. Upon further investigation the deputy reported that the homeowner's daughter entered the premises without permission and allegedly took several items that were not hers. The 18-year-old female from Spring was taken into custody on a charge of burglary of a habitation.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION
On Sept. 3, a deputy was dispatched to the area of Fox Run Boulevard because of a suspicious person. The subject was located walking in the middle of the roadway. According to the deputy, the 52-year-old male from Spring showed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody on a charge of public intoxication.

On Sept. 8, a deputy was dispatched to the area of Richards and Rayford roads because of a suspicious person. The deputy located the subject and reported he was showing signs of intoxication. The 35-year-old male from Spring was taken into custody on a charge of public intoxication.

On Sept. 8, a deputy was dispatched to the 2600 block of Foxview Drive because of a suspicious person. The deputy reports locating the subject, who showed signs of intoxication. The 46-year-old female from The Woodlands was taken into custody on a charge of public intoxication.

On Sept. 9, a deputy was dispatched to the 33000 block of FM 2978 on a welfare check. The deputy reports that the subject was located and showed signs of intoxication. The 18-year-old male from Magnolia was taken into custody on a charge of public intoxication.

On Sept. 9, a deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of Rayford Road on a welfare check. The deputy reports that the subject was located and showed signs of intoxication. The 53-year-old female from Spring was taken into custody on a charge of public intoxication.

On Sept. 9, a deputy observed a female sitting on a curb at the intersection of Brookhaven and Ray Pine drives. According to the deputy, the 40-year-old female from Conroe showed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody on a charge of public intoxication.

District 3: East County

ASSAULT
On Sept. 7, a deputy was dispatched to the 24100 block of Glory Avenue in reference to a disturbance. Investigation by the deputy revealed that an 18-year-old male had arrived at the location and began an argument with a family member. The male was arrested on a charge of assault.

CHILD ENDANGERMENT
On Sept. 6, a deputy was dispatched to the 24500 Block of Appian Ridge in reference to a disturbance. The deputy investigated and determined that the disturbance erupted after a 28-year-old female was allegedly located passed out from prescription medication while leaving her 21-month-old child unattended. The female was arrested on a charge of child endangerment and placed in jail.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
On Sept. 8, a deputy was dispatched to the area of FM 1314 and Highway 59 for a vehicle driving erratically. The vehicle was stopped and the deputy reported that the driver, a 37-year-old male appeared to be intoxicated. The male subject was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

On Sept. 9, a deputy made a traffic stop on Loop 494 in the area of Ford Road on a vehicle he observed committing a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver, the deputy reported that the smell of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from the vehicle and the 39-year-old male driver. Further investigation by the deputy determined that the driver was intoxicated, at which time he was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

On Sept. 9, a deputy was dispatched to the area of Vick Road and FM 1485 in reference to an intoxicated driver. The deputy was able to locate the vehicle and the 48-year-old male driver. The deputy reported that the driver openly admitted to consuming at least 10 beers before driving to the local store. The suspect was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

DRUGS
On Sept. 5, a deputy was dispatched to the 11700 block of Lake Forest in reference to a welfare check of a 45-year-old male seated in his front yard that appeared to be in a frantic state of mind. Investigation by the deputy revealed that the person was in possession of illegal narcotics that included methamphetamine, marijuana and diazepam. The suspect was arrested and taken to jail.

On Sept. 8, a deputy was dispatched to the Porter Walmart in reference to a theft. The deputy reported that a 30-year-old female had been detained for theft and when asked if she had any drugs on her person, she produced a sock from inside her bra that contained drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine. The subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

FAILURE TO IDENTIFY
On Sept. 7, an officer investigated a fraudulent use of identifying information at the 14600 Block of FM 1485 in New Caney. Investigation by the officer revealed that a 28-year-old male had been using his child's identifying information to obtain credit. The male was arrested for failure to identify as well as various outstanding warrants.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION
On Sept. 2, a deputy responded to a disturbance involving an intoxicated 26-year-old male on Firetower Road. The deputy determined that the male subject had ingested pills and was intoxicated. The suspect was arrested by the deputy and taken to jail.

On Sept. 6, a deputy was dispatched to the 20600 block of Ravenwood in reference to a suspicious person walking around who appeared to be intoxicated. A 53-year-old white male was located and according to the deputy appeared heavily intoxicated. The subject was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

THEFT
On Sept. 5, a deputy was dispatched to the Porter Walmart in reference to a theft. The deputy reported that a 26-year-old white male had allegedly taken property. The male was arrested on a charge of theft and taken to jail without incident.

On Sept. 7, a deputy was dispatched to the Porter Walmart for an alleged theft in which a 33-year-old female that had stolen a 40-inch television and attempted to return it for a refund. During the investigation, it was determined that the female had also used a fraudulent name and had several warrants for her arrest. The female arrested on a charge of theft.

THREATS
Sept. 3, a deputy was dispatched to a disturbance in the 18000 Block of Rayburn involving a 44-year-old intoxicated male that was allegedly waiving a rifle around threatening family members. The deputy reports that the male was arrested and taken to jail.

District 4: West County

ASSAULT
On Sept. 7, a deputy was dispatched to the 4300 block of FM 149 in reference to a 28-year-old male arguing with his girlfriend. Upon arrival the deputy reports observing the subject standing near the rear of his vehicle yelling at his girlfriend. The deputy learned that the two were heading home when they ran out of gas. An argument erupted where the girlfriend was pushed. The male was taken into custody on a charge of assault.

DRUGS
On Sept. 4, an officer observed a vehicle make an illegal turn. The officer conducted a traffic stop and when the 52-year-old suspect stepped out of the vehicle the officer reports seeing a small white rock of crack cocaine on the seat. The driver was taken into custody on a charge of possession of controlled substance. The 47-year-old female passenger was taken into custody for three active warrants.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION
On Sept. 9, a deputy was dispatched to the 24000 block of Sanders Cemetery Road in reference to a passed out 32-year-old male in the back yard of a residence. After locating the subject the deputy reported that the when the subject woke up he replied he was drunk and wanted to go to jail. The deputy placed him into custody on a charge of public intoxication.

THREATS
On Sept. 6, officers were dispatched to a residence on FM 1486 in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, the officers met with a 17-year-old male who was sitting on a chair in the driveway of his residence with a damaged golf club across his lap. The officer started a conversation with the subject, who casually said that he was waiting for his uncle. When the uncle arrived the deputy learned that allegedly, the 17-year-old had previously threatened his uncle with a hammer. The officer reports that the suspect made threats to harm his uncle during the investigation. The suspect was arrested and taken to jail.

District 5: Northwest County

ASSAULT
On Sept. 9, a deputy was dispatched to Mohawk Drive in regards to a potential assault. The deputy learned that a female relative had allegedly assaulted several people. The female suspect was arrested on a charge of assault and placed in jail.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
On Sept. 8, a deputy responded to the 12300 block of Glenview in regards to a potential assault. Deputies learned that a male and female had been arguing and the female was allegedly assaulted. The male fled in a vehicle prior to the officer's arrival. While conducting the investigation deputies observed the male drive by and were able to stop him. The male was intoxicated. The suspect was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and with assault.

DRUGS
On Sept. 5, a deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of West Palm Boulevard. Upon making contact with the male driver the officer reports that the subject was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. The male was arrested and placed in jail.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION
On Sept. 6, a deputy was on patrol in the 19300 block of SH 105 West when he observed a vehicle driving behind a shopping center without any lights. Upon making contact with the female driver deputies discovered a small amount of a controlled substance and the suspect had an outstanding warrant. The female passenger was intoxicated and arrested on a charge of public intoxication. Both subjects were placed in jail.

THEFT
On Sept. 5, a deputy responded to an establishment in the 15200 block of SH 105 West in regards to a potential theft. The deputy learned that a male patron had allegedly ran out of the business without paying his tab. Officers located the suspect nearby and he was arrested on a charge of theft.

District 6: The Woodlands

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
On Sept. 4, a deputy was dispatched to assist another deputy with a traffic stop of a possible intoxicated driver. During the course of the traffic stop the deputies noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The suspect, a 54-year-old male from Spring, was determined to be intoxicated and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

On Sept. 6, a deputy was dispatched to the area of Woodlands Parkway and Grogan's Mill, where a vehicle had been observed driving erratically. The deputy located the vehicle in the parking lot at 9595 Six Pines and spoke with the driver, a 21-year-old female from Spring. After conducting several Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, the deputy determined that the driver was intoxicated. The suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with driving while intoxicated.

EVADING ARREST
On Sept. 5, a deputy was approached by three women stating that one of them had her credit cards stolen and that she was informed by the credit card company that one card had just been used at the Apple Store in The Woodlands Mall. When approaching the mall entrance the deputy reports the suspects were exiting. One suspect escaped through the mall but two suspects, a 26-year-old female from New York and a 30-year-old female from North Miami Beach, were detained after a brief chase. The credit cards and some of the merchandise were found in the suspect's possession. Both were taken into custody and charged with engaging in criminal activity and evading and were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

RESISTING ARREST
On Sept. 5, a deputy was dispatched to assist another deputy with a traffic stop of a possible intoxicated driver. During the traffic stop, the deputies observed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The suspect, a 35-year-old male from Spring, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated. During the process of placing the suspect into custody, the deputy reports the suspect resisted arrest. The deputies were able to gain control of the suspect and added an additional charge of resisting arrest.

THEFT
On Sept. 6, a deputy was dispatched to an incident of a potential shoplifter at 3040 College Park Drive. The suspect, a 34-year-old female from Huntsville, allegedly attempted to take $354.11 worth of merchandise from Walmart. The suspect was charged with theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

On Sept. 8, a deputy was dispatched to an incident of a potential shoplifter at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspects, two 17-year-old males from Conroe, allegedly attempted to take $136.94 worth of merchandise from Macy's Department Store. The suspects were taken into custody for theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
