Fourth grade class at The Woodlands Preparatory School gets new pet
Freedom the mouse is the newest pet in Jan Decker's fourth grade class at The Woodlands Preparatory School.
Freedom the mouse has joined fourth grade class pets Ping and Pong at The Woodlands Preparatory School.
Admissions director Jolynn Buckingham has lent her prized possession, Freedom the mouse, to Jan Decker's fourth grade class for the year. Freedom earned her name by escaping from her cardboard box in an upper school classroom and fleeing from one end of the building to the other to the safety of a naturalistic teacher's classroom, according to a school press release.
The Woodlands Preparatory School is at 27440 Kuykendahl Road, in Tomball.
