National Night Out community kickoff event set for Sept. 22
A National Night Out community kickoff event will run from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Northshore Park in The Woodlands.
The event offers the public a chance to explore public safety apparatus such as an ambulance, fire engine, mobile command unit and more. There will be live demonstrations from Narcotics, Explosive Detection and Apprehension police dogs, face-painting, a bounce house and crafts, plus visits with McGruff the Crime Dog and other famous mascots.
There will also be free food cooked by CISD Police.
The event is open the public. Admission is free.
Northshore Park is at 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive.
