Oak Ridge grad Short leads Harding University to win
Oak Ridge grad Alyssa Short had four digs on Thursday, Sept. 13, to help Harding University roll to victory in straight sets over Lyon College in women's college volleyball action.
Short, a junior middle blocker, also contributed four blocks and four kills in the win, and had a .333 hitting percentage.
Harding University won 25-14, 25-12, 25-18 in the match at Becknell Gymnasium in Batesville. The team is now 8-3 on the season.
The next contest for Harding University is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at home against Arkansas Tech University.
