High school volleyball preview: Oak Ridge vs. Winter Park
The Oak Ridge High School War Eagles girls volleyball team will meet Winter Park in its next match at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Oak Ridge.
Oak Ridge has a 22-5 record on the season and is 1-1 in district play. The Lady War Eagles won their last match 3-0, against the Vikings, as Victoria Harris scored 15 kills.
Winter Park is 4-0 on the year and 1-0 in district play. On Wednesday, Winter Park beat Lake Mary, 3-1, as Beth Nordhorn scored 17 kills.
After the Winter Park game, Oak Ridge plays The Woodlands on Friday, Sept. 28.
Winter Park will next play Lake Highland Prep on Thursday, Sept. 27.
