Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion releases upcoming event calendar
Upcoming performances at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion include Def Leppard, the Houston Symphony, Toby Keith, Goyte and the Buzzfest concert series. Tickets can be purchased online at woodlandscenter.org or at any Ticketmaster outlet. The Rock of Ages Tour with Def Leppard, Poison and opening act Lita Ford is set for 7 p.m., Saturday Sept. 1. Ticket prices are $125 for reserved pit; $125, $79.50, $59.50 and $39.50 or reserved seats; and $35 for lawn seats. The Houston Symphony will perform its Latin American Classical concert with Conductor Hans Graf at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6. Tickets are $15 for orchestra seats and free for mezzanine and lawn seats. Pop singer Kelly Clarkson and band The Fray will perform at 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7. Tickets are $79.50 for reserved pit; $79.50, $49.50, $39.50 and $29.50 for reserved seats and $20 for lawn seats. Country singer Toby Keith is scheduled for 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 8. Tickets are $68.50 for GA pit; $68.25 and $48.25 for reserved seats; and $28.50 for lawn seats. Band Train and singer Matt Kearney are slated for 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 14. Tickets are $65 for reserved pit; $65, $49.50 and $29.50 for reserved seats; and $20 for lawn seats. The Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival will kick off at noon on Saturday, Sept. 15. Scheduled to perform are Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach, Adelitas Way, P.O.D., Deuce and Redlight King. Tickets are $89.25 GA pit; $55.25, $39.25 and $29.25 for reserved seats; and $25.25 for lawn seats. A second Houston Symphony concert is scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21. The concert is an evening of Brahms with violinist Frank Huang and cellist Brinton Averil Smith. Tickets are $15 for orchestra seats and free on the lawn and mezzanine. The final September concert is Florence and the Machine with The Maccabees. Tickets are $69.50 for GA pit, and $59.50, $45 and $35 for reserved seats. Three Days Grace, Lit, Eve 6, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and more will appear at the Buzzfest 29 event beginning at noon on Saturday, Oct. 6. Tickets are $150 for reserved pit, $69 for reserved seating and $39 for lawn seats. Goyte with Givers and Jonti will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11. Ticket prices are $49.50 for GA pit and $43.50 for reserved seats. Robert Franz will conduct the Houston Symphony's Hocus Pocus Pops concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12. Franz also will conduct the Holly Jolly Symphony Spectacular at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7. Prices are $15 for orchestra seats and free for mezzanine and lawn seating. Jill Scott and Charlie Wilson will headline the Majic 102.1 35th anniversary show, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26. Prices are $125 for reserved pit and $75 and $55 for reserved seats. The 17th annual Children's Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Parking is available at the onsite Town Center Garage. Fees can be prepaid when purchasing tickets and cost $5-$15 per vehicle depending on the event.
