Legends Sports Complex to offer youth volleyball academy
Registration is open for girls in the third grade and older to join Legends Volleyball Academy for the fall season.
The academy is designed for beginning and intermediate players.
During the academy, instructors will teach how to systematically improve volleyball skills and techniques with a focus on team concepts including rotation, defense, offense and more. Players will be grouped according to age and skill level so coaches can focus on players' needs. Sessions will begin with the fundamentals of volleyball and then progress to other skills.
The program will run 6-8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays from Sept. 17 through Oct. 29 at the Legends Sports Complex, located at 602 Pruitt Road in The Woodlands. The cost is $200, plus an additional $24 annual sports fee for non-Legends members.
