Montgomery County Sheriff's office weekly report, Aug. 14
The following incidents were reported in Montgomery County between Aug. 4 and Aug. 14: District 1 (North County) DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED Aug. 11: A vehicle was stopped by a deputy on a traffic violation in the 200 block of Jeffcote Road. The deputy reports that the male driver appeared to be intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle. The 41-year-old male from Conroe was arrested and taken to jail at 2 a.m. on a charge of driving while intoxicated. PUBLIC INTOXICATION Aug. 7: Two males were arrested outside of a bar on West FM 1097. A 32-year-old from Montgomery was arrested on a charge of public intoxication and also a fail to appear on a warrant out of Montgomery County. The other male, a 34-year-old, from Humble, was also arrested and charged with public intoxication. SEX CRIME OFFENDER Aug. 9: A vehicle was stopped by a deputy for a traffic violation on Crockett Martin Road and reports that the driver provided a false driver's license because the male was wanted. The 26-year-old male from Houston was arrested for a sexual assault of a child on a warrant out of Harris County and was also charged with failure to identify as a fugitive. . District 2 (South County) ASSAULT Aug. 6: During a routine traffic stop on Glen Loch Drive deputies reported that a female walked up and began to interfere with duties of a public servant. The female grabbed the lieutenant and was placed into custody on a charge of assault on a public servant. Aug. 8: A 26-year-old male from Sprint was arrested on a charge of assault after a deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of Sawdust Road for a disturbance. Aug. 9: A 54-year-old male from Oklahoma City, Okla., was arrested on charges of assault-family violence after a deputy was dispatched to a disturbance near Interstate Highway 45 and FM 1488. Aug. 11: A deputy was dispatched to the 2800 block of Lockridge Place Drive on a disturbance. A 33-year-old male from Houston was arrested after the deputy determined an assault had occurred. BURGLARY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE Aug. 4: Deputies were dispatched to the 25000 block of Borough Park Drive on a report of a burglary of a motor vehicle. Deputies report that witnesses gave a description of the suspects and the vehicle. The deputies spotted the vehicle and stopped it on IH-45 near the Harris County line. Deputies say that property taken from the burglary was located in the vehicle. A deputy arrested three adult males from Houston on charges of burglary of a motor vehicle. DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED Aug. 10: A 25-year-old male from Humble, was taken into custody on a charge of driving while intoxicated after a deputy reported smelling an odor of alcohol and conducting a field sobriety test during a traffic stop. Aug. 11: During a traffic stop in the 26000 block of Interstate Highway 45, a deputy reported upon speaking to the driver a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. A field sobriety test was performed and the 22-year-old female from Houston was arrested for driving while intoxicated. District 3 (East County) ASSAULT Aug. 8: A 39-year-old-male from Porter was arrested on a charge of assault family violence after an officer was dispatched to Pinewood Drive and discovered the suspect had allegedly pushed the victim to the ground. DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED Aug. 11: A deputy was dispatched to State Highway 242 and Lone Star in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival to the area the deputy reported that the two individuals that were arguing were no longer on scene. They were located a short time later standing outside of the vehicle, which was in the road on FM 1485. The driver was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and the passenger was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. DRUGS Aug. 14: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Loop 494 for an expired registration. Upon stopping the vehicle the deputy reported that the driver and passenger appeared nervous. After searching the individuals for weapons the deputies stated that a bag of marijuana was found on the suspect, who was a passenger in the vehicle. The suspect, a 19-year-old male from New Caney, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana. FRAUD Aug. 11: A deputy was dispatched to the Wells Fargo Bank on Community Drive in reference to fraud. Upon arrival the deputy learned that the suspect had come into the bank and used fraudulent identification to make a withdrawal out of a victim's account. The suspect then allegedly attempted to make another withdrawal from the Wells Fargo on Kingwood Drive. Officers were able to arrive on scene before the suspect left and she was arrested. The suspect, a 28-year-old female from Stone Mountain, Ga., was arrested and charged with two counts of fraudulent use of identifying information. PUBLIC INTOXICATION Aug. 13: A 30-year-old male from Kingwood was arrested on a charge of public intoxication on Knox Drive after a deputy was dispatched in reference to an intoxicated male in the parking lot. THEFT Aug. 10: A 21-year-old male from Kingwood was arrested and charged with theft at the Porter Walmart after allegedly attempting to leave the store without paying for $62 worth of merchandise. Aug. 13: A deputy was dispatched to the Porter Walmart in reference to shoplifter. Upon arrival he met with loss prevention and learned that the suspect had attempted to leave the store without paying for $147 worth of merchandise. The suspect, a 27-year-old female from Splendora, was arrested on a charge of theft. District 4 (West County) ASSAULT Aug. 11: A deputy was dispatched to a trailer park on State Highway 249 in Pinehurst in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival the deputy reports he met with the complainant who said that a 29-year-old male grabbed her by the shirt and slapped her. The complainant ran to a neighbor's residence and called for help. The suspect was arrested on a charge of assault family violence. Aug. 11: A deputy was dispatched to Partridge Circle in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival the deputy met with the complainant and his 31-year-old brother. The complainant advised the deputy his brother had threatened him with a knife. The suspect was taken into custody on a charge of aggravated assault. DRUGS Aug. 12: A 17-year-old suspect was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana after a deputy reports finding a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle. The deputy stopped the driver while patrolling The Woodlands subdivision. PUBLIC INTOXICATION Aug. 12: A deputy was dispatched to the area of Oakview Street and Highland Boulevard in reference to a male lying in a ditch. Upon arrival the deputy reports finding a 42-year-old male in the ditch and a 43-year-old male staggering in the roadway. The deputy learned that both suspects were intoxicated and had been drinking heavily. Both were arrested on charges of public intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. RESISTING ARREST Aug. 7: A sergeant was dispatched to the Decker Oaks subdivision in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival the sergeant reports seeing a large group of people in the street and a 17-year-old female screaming at the group using profane language. The sergeant reports that when he attempted to detain the suspect she kicked him and resisted arrest. The suspect was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. WEAPONS Aug. 11: A 33-year-old male was arrested on a charge of possession of a prohibited weapon after a deputy was dispatched to the residence in the Hazy Hollow subdivision and reported finding a sawed-off shotgun. District 5 (Northwest County) DRUGS Aug. 9: A deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of FM 1486 North. Upon making contact with the female driver the deputy reported that a small amount of marijuana was found. The female was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana and placed in jail. PUBLIC INTOXICATION Aug. 10: A deputy responded to Kingspoint Drive after a report of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies found that a car was parked on the front lawn of a residence inside the gated community. A female non-resident was located nearby and arrested on a charge of public intoxication THEFT Aug. 9: A deputy was dispatched to a residence on FM 2854 in regards to a theft. The complainant reported to the deputy that someone had stolen several items of scrap aluminum. Deputies are conducting a follow-up investigation. Aug. 10: A deputy responded to a residence on South Shore Boulevard in regards to a theft. The complainant told deputies that after her son hosted a party at their home multiple items of jewelry were missing. This case is under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division. District 6 (The Woodlands) DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED Aug. 8, 2:51 a.m.: A deputy conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Research Forest Drive. Upon making contact with the driver, a 29-year-old male from Spring, the deputy reports noticing a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The deputy conducted standardized field sobriety tests, the suspect was charged with driving while intoxicated. Aug. 12, 12:46 a.m.: A deputy observed a vehicle stopped at the intersection of Lake Woodlands and Lake Front Circle. When the vehicle did not continue through the intersection, the deputy reported checking on the driver, a 47-year-old male from The Woodlands, whom he found passed out with the vehicle in drive and foot on the brake. After conducting several standardized field sobriety tests, the suspect was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with driving while intoxicated. DRUGS Aug. 12, 11:35 p.m.: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Flintridge Drive and reported the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The deputy reports finding numerous pills of Trazodone and Tramadol in the vehicle. The driver, a 23-year-old male from Spring, was arrested on a charge of possession of a dangerous drug and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. THEFT Aug. 8, 8:13 p.m.: A deputy was dispatched after reports of a shoplifter in the 1200 block of Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect, a 17-year-old female from Spring, allegedly attempted to take $105 worth of merchandise from JCPenney. The suspect was charged with theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Aug. 11, 3 p.m.: A deputy was dispatched after a shoplifter was reported in the 3000 block of College Park Drive. The suspect, an 18-year-old male from Spring, allegedly attempted to take $56.88 worth of merchandise from Walmart. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with theft before being transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Aug. 11, 6:53 p.m.: A deputy was dispatched after a shoplifter was reported in the 1200 block of Lake Woodlands Drive. The suspect, a 17-year-old female from The Woodlands, allegedly attempted to take $137.43 worth of merchandise from Macy's. The suspect was charged with theft and transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
