Registration opens for 'Serving Our Seniors' day of service
Volunteers are being sought for this year's Interfaith of The Woodlands Serving Our Seniors day of service on Saturday, Oct. 13. Volunteers, including individuals from corporations and member congregations, will spend the day serving senior citizens throughout the community in various projects including yard work, painting, cleaning, gardening, crafts and light home repair. "This event is a wonderful opportunity for volunteers of all ages to provide a valuable service for our senior neighbors," said Ann Snyder, president and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands, in a press release. Registration forms are available at woodlandsinterfaith.org, by calling 832-615-8224 or emailing abadnek@woodlandsinterfaith.org. The deadline to register is Friday, Sept. 28.
