YMCA Family Movie Night Under the Stars scheduled

The South Montgomery County YMCA's Family Movie Night Under the Stars will take place Friday, Aug. 17, at the Creekside YMCA Outdoor Amphitheater.

The evening's activities will begin at 6 p.m., and the screening will begin at dusk, around 8 p.m. Admission is free for YMCA members and their guests.

This family-friendly event will feature the Disney Pixar animated film "Cars 2," which is rated G. The movie runs 106 minutes and features the voices of Owen Wilson, Michael Caine and Larry the Cable Guy.

Families are recommended to bring a blanket, chairs, bug spray and a picnic supper to enjoy while watching the film. Refreshments will be available during the movie, including popcorn and lemonade.
