Shadowbend YMCA to offer free self-defense seminar for adults
The Shadowbend YMCA will host a free self-defense class for adults from 7:30-9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16. Participants ages 18 and older will learn how to use the art of Jujutsu to defend themselves against attacks. According to the YMCA press release, Jujutsu uses techniques of passivity to diffuse a potential confrontation. Registration is required.
