Project management seminar to be held Aug. 23
Lone Star Corporate College will host a project management seminar on Thursday, Aug. 23.
As part of the Networking Lunch Series, Why Project Management at Wartsila? will discuss the Finnish power plant leader's global success story. Manager Rashid N. Kapadia and Regional Sales Director Wayne Elmore will lead the presentation.
The Wartsila president and CEO's case study "From Trial and Error to a Recognized Global Turn-Key Supplier: The Wartsila Power Plant Story" will be used to highlight elements of project management in world business affairs.
The seminar is for individuals interested in project management and working with project teams in some capacity. The cost is $25 with lunch included. Registration is required.
The presentation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lone Star Community Building, 5000 Research Forest Drive in The Woodlands.
