Fall vegetable gardening class to be held Aug. 18
The Woodlands Township is sponsoring a three-hour gardening program by horticulturalist and writer Tom LeRoy on Saturday, Aug. 18.
The class will begin at 9 a.m. at the township building, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands. LeRoy will discuss planting and gardening in Montgomery County. He is a horticultural agent with Texas AgriLife Extension office.
Limited seating is available for the event and reservations are required. To reserve a spot, register online at thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/gardeningevents.
Other upcoming gardening classes include a landscaping solutions workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 29, and a compost workshop from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Parks, Recreation and Environmental Services campus.
