Fountains to perform every ten minutes in August
The 120-foot long fountains in Waterway Square will be choreographed to music for 10-minute performances on weekends in August as part of Music on the 10s.
Water shows will last from 6-11 p.m. on Fridays and from noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The fountains feature waterfalls, jets and lights all set to various tunes, including ABBA's "Dancing Queen," "Kokomo" by The Beach Boys, "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas and "Footloose" by Kenny Loggins.
The water display was constructed by Aquatic Design and Engineer Inc. and the surrounding park by Sasaki Associates. Parking is available at the Waterway Square Parking Garage between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court, at 24 Waterway Parking Garage at the corner of Fountain Plaza and Lake Robbins Drive, at the corners of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place or Six Pines and Lake Robbins Drive. Limited street parking is available at Lake Robbins Drive, Waterway Avenue, Waterway Square Place and Timberloch Place.
