Woodlands Chamber to host Chairmans Ball August 18
The South Montgomery County Woodlands Chamber of Commerce will host its 34th Annual Chairman’s Ball Saturday, Aug. 18.
The ball honors the outgoing Chairman of the Board, Dr. Ann Snyder. The theme is “The Chamber goes Broadway Baby! Ann’s Musical Night.” Participants are encouraged to dress as Broadway stars for the event.
The Chairman’s Ball comes at the end of each fiscal year in August, giving one last honor to the outgoing Chairman. James Stilwell will take the reigns for the next fiscal year.
Randy Lovelace of Paragon Independent Insurance Agencies will serve as the Ball’s Team Leader.
“Everyone looks forward to the ever popular – and highly competitive – Table Top Decorating Contest,” Lovelace said in a press release.
The Table Top Decorating prizes go for best uses of themes, company logos, best newcomer and more. There will also be awards for best costumed males, females and couples or groups.
“I’m eager to find out what celebrity sightings we will have this year,” Lovelace said in the release.
The Ball will be from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive.
