Datren Williams announces candidacy for Conroe ISD School Board

Datren Williams has formally announced his candidacy for Conroe ISD’s School Board, Position 4.

Datren Williams has announced his candidacy for the Conroe Independent School District School Board, Position 4.

Williams has been a resident of the district for more than 10 years, stating in a press release that he is running for the position to ensure that Conroe ISD schools remain a safe and exceptional learning environment.

Key to Williams's candidacy is the large enrollment growth in the district, the need for new schools and the refurbishing of existing ones. Williams stated that taxpayer money should be used cautiously and intelligently to accommodate this growth, according to the press release.

Williams is a licensed CPA and is employed with Pentair Corporation in Conroe as a financial analysis manager. He is married to Maya Williams, a speech and language therapist for CISD.
