Village of Indian Springs Residential Design Review Committee June 14 meeting recap
Property owners living in the Village of Indian Springs are planning summer projects such as building patio covers, summer kitchens and renovating fireplaces.
According to the village's residential design review committee's June 14 meeting, many of the projects may not be permitted.
The committee decided against improvements proposed by John G. McLaughlin for his property at 27 Lenox Hill Court, and the same improvements were planned by John Magee at 51 W. Mirror Ridge Circle. Plans for both properties included patio covers, summer kitchens and fireplace renovations.
Robert L. Beauchamp asked for permission to build a patio cover and related improvements along with a grill cover at his property at 66 W. Mirror Ridge Circle, but the committee decided against approving his request.
Village staff have some concerns with plans for a patio cover, summer kitchen, fireplace and related improvements at 23 Lenox Hill Court, owned by Randy L. Knust, but those issues were resolved.
Concerns the committee had with Knust's plans were not noted during the meeting. Likewise, the reasons why the committee did not approve other plans as presented were not discussed.
Decisions were made without committee member Matthew Dennis, who was absent. The committee excused his absence.
