Energy co. manager asking $1.8M for 5BD in The Woodlands

Gary R. Balzhiser has listed for sale a five-bedroom, 6.5-bath home at 31 Player Bend Drive in The Woodlands for $1.8 million.

Balzhiser acquired the property in December 2003, the same year the 7,183-square-foot home was built in the Village of Sterling Ridge. Diane Kink of Keller Williams Realty is the listing agent.

Balzhiser is manager of commercial lubricants for ConocoPhillips. He also serves on the board of directors of Dingo, an oil analysis software company. He previously managed the wholesale and retail fuels business of the California, Nevada and Arizona markets of Union Oil, Tocso and Phillips.

He holds a degree in economics from Yale University and an M.B.A. in finance from The Marshall School of Business at Southern California University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,488 home sales in The Woodlands during the past 12 months.
