Runners from The Woodlands complete First Colony Freedom 5K
Two runners from The Woodlands completed the First Colony Freedom 5K on July 4 in Sugar Land.
Nathan Doty, 33, completed the race in 24:13, and Adam Martin, 28, crossed the finish line in 49:33.
A total of 739 runners finished the 5-kilometer race, which was held in Lost Creek Park. The proceeds of the race will benefit the Fort Bend CORPS.
Jeremy Green was the men’s overall winner with a time of 17:19, while Kylee Short was the women’s winner in 18:03.
