Class Act Productions presents 'Anything Goes' musical
Class Act Productions will present Cole Porter's musical theater production Anything Goes with several performances in July at The Woodlands College Park High School in The Woodlands.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 13; Saturday, July 14; July 20; and July 21. A matinee presentation will be at 2:30 p.m. July 22.
Based on an original book by P.G. Wodehouse, Guy Bolton, Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse and a new work by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman, Anything Goes tells the story of the crew of the S.S. American. As the crew heads out to sea, two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love. The crew fills out the musical's background with singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some blackmail.
The musical comedy will includes memorable standards, including "I Get A Kick Out of You," "It's De-Lovely" and "Anything Goes."
The Woodlands College Park High School is located at 3701 College Park Drive, The Woodlands.
