Woodlands runners complete Polish Pickle 5K
Thirteen Woodlands-area runners completed the Polish Pickle 5K Run on June 23 in Bremond.
The Woodlands runners who participated in the race are Curtis Hooper, 43 (20:12); JoAnn Blakeley, 48 (22:31); Kerri Snyder, 37 (22:32); Buck Snyder, 40 (22:32); Kristin Collins, 40 (22:47); Randy Bradley, 50 (23:13); Leslie Hajdo, 60 (28:25); Liz Berry, 52 (29:02); and Kathleen Eaton, 48 (31:47).
The Magnolia runners are Michael Demny, 39, who completed the race in 30:27; Jaimie Kocian, 31, who crossed the finish line in 32:27; Ashton Demny, 9, who reached the finish line in 36:41; and Hayden Demny, 11, who took 38:07.
A total of 526 runners finished the 5-kilometer race, which started on Main Street in front of The Bremond Press.
Gustavo Roman Jr., of College Station, was the men’s overall winner with a time of 16:23, while Hannah Steffan, of Austin, was the women’s winner in 17:26.
