Local family donates 1923 baby grand piano to Interfaith
Seated behind the 1923 baby grand piano are Dr. Ann Snyder, president and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands (right), and Sigrid Harnsberger.
Donald and Sigrid Harnsberger donated an R.F. Rachals baby grand piano to Interfaith of The Woodlands.
The couple donated the piano after they downsized to a smaller home and no longer had space for it.
"We are positively thrilled the Harnsbergers thought of Interfaith of The Woodlands when making such a generous donation," said Dr. Ann Snyder, president and CEO of Interfaith, in a press release. "We will place the baby grand in Interfaith's chapel, where it will be enjoyed by many for years to come."
In the family since 1930, the piano was made in Hamburg, Germany, and has ivory keys.
Interfaith of The Woodlands is a nonprofit organization providing programs and services to the local area.
