FEMA names Woodlands Financial Agency of the Year
The Woodlands Financial Group has been honored with one of three national Agency-of-the-Year awards.
The award comes from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and was given during the 29th National Flood Conference in Austin.
TWFG was founded 10 years ago by entrepreneur Richard “Gordy” Bunch. It is now the 15th largest personal-lines leader and one of the Top 100 privately held agencies in the nation, according to Insurance Journal magazine.
The National Flood Conference took place May 6-9. The National Flood Insurance Program event is an annual gathering of all partners in the NFIP and educates audiences on the importance of flood-plain management and flood insurance.
