United Way celebrates, thanks donors at Appreciation Day

United Way of Montgomery County recently celebrated its 2011-2012 campaign, which raised more than $4.5 million, at Market Street in The Woodlands.
Guests at the celebration attended a reception, where they watched a band perform as part of the Market Street concert series. United Way employees gave out T-shirts to the concert crowd during the celebration.
CB&I Executive Vice President Chip Ray, the 2012 campaign chair, announced the following pacesetters for the 2012-2013 campaign, scheduled to begin in the fall: Americas Styrenics, Dover Corp., Montgomery County United Way, Woodlands Development Co., The Clubs at Carlton Woods, CB&I, Lone Star Family Health Center, Praxair, Winstead Law Firm, Chevron Phillips Chemical Co., Memorial Hermann Hospital, SWBC Mortgage Corp. and The Woodlands South County Chamber of Commerce.
The campaign kickoff, which will also begin Market Street's fall concert series, will be from 6-8:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at 9595 Six Pines Drive in The Woodlands.
