Woodlands Soccer City to open indoor soccer complex

A new indoor soccer complex, with two large air-conditioned fields, a party room, meeting space, concessions and office space will open soon at FM 1488 and SH 242.

The Woodlands Soccer City complex will be the only indoor soccer space in the area to have two large fields and will be equipped with the latest in artificial turf technology along with tempered glass for clear spectator viewing.

"We are really excited to be opening this fantastic facility and be part of The Woodlands soccer community," Geoff Wilding, director of operations, said in a press release. "As the name suggests, we will be offering everything soccer — from adult leagues for men, women, co-ed and corporate, plus youth leagues for ages 4 and above. In addition, we will be holding indoor soccer camps, adult and youth tournaments and skills clinics. Area youths will now have a great place to hold birthday parties or end-of-season team parties with use of our soccer fields followed by a good time in our party room."

Indoor fields will be available for teams to rent for practice. Outdoor turf fiends will also be built in the future and will be available for rent when complete.
