Singing sixth-grader values musical ability
Tara Eubank, a sixth-grader at Tom Cox Intermediate, says that although she plans to have a career in the sports health field, she values music and musical ability highly.
“My greatest accomplishment,” she said, “is learning how to play the guitar. I love music and I love playing for my family and friends. Music is important to me.” She has been a member of her school’s Honor Choir for three years.

Favorite things to do outside of class: “To participate in after-school Awanas and play games with my family. I love Awanas because I learn about God and get to hang out with my friends. My favorite is hanging out with my family. I love my family very much, they are important to me.”

Favorite movie: “I don’t have a favorite movie, but I am looking forward to seeing ‘The Lorax.’ ”
Ambition: “When I grow up I would like to be a physical therapist or be employed in the sports medical field.”
