YMCA hosts Healthy Kids Day for parents, kids
The South Montgomery County YMCA will host a Healthy Kids Day for children and parents from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 28 in the Montgomery County Creekside YMCA Outdoor Adventure Center in The Woodlands.
Activities include an open house, tours, face art, moon walk, fingerprinting, climbing wall and more. The first 300 kids in attendance will receive a Healthy Kids Day prize.
The YMCA hosts the event to bring families together to engage in fun, active play and to learn healthier habits to help them thrive and grow.
The date is also kicks off Super Summer Sign Up Day. Information on activities on YMCA summer programs, including Day Camp, Swim Lessons, Youth Sports, Sports Clinics, Teen Camp, Child Care and Performing Arts, will be available.
With each summer program registration, participants will receive a free gift. New members who join can take advantage of 50 percent off the joining fee.
