College Park grad pitches six innings in loss
Pat Young, a 2010 graduate of The Woodlands College Park High School, pitched six innings for Villanova on Saturday in a 6-5 loss to West Virginia.
He tallied four strikeouts and four earned runs.
At College Park, Young was a two-year letterman. His senior year, he went 8-3 with a 1.89 ERA in 63 innings. His performance earned him first-team all-District 14-5A and first-team all-Houston honors. At the plate, he hit .325 with three home runs and 24 RBIs.
Young is the son of George and Martha Young. He has yet to declare a major.
