The Woodlands cautions residents of law enforcement impersonator
Police say at around 6 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, a male suspect driving a newer model black Toyota Tundra, tailed a Woodlands resident from East Panther Creek to Glenloch Drive and flashed red and blue lights, initiating a traffic stop in an area parking lot.
The imposter exited the Tundra, approached the victim’s vehicle, demanded her driver’s license, and then reprimanded her about her driving, according to a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department news release. The woman became suspicious after the suspect failed to call in her license and registration.
The man is described as white, between the ages of 45 and 50. He is clean-shaven with blonde hair, a buzz cut and blue eyes.
