Heisman Trophy winner speaks at Woodlands Church

Robert Griffin III, the 77th recipient of the Heisman Trophy, spoke about his faith at the Woodlands Church this February.

Griffin, the former quarterback for Baylor and a top NFL draft pick this upcoming season, discussed the impact of his faith on his athletic career with Woodlands Church Pastor Kerry Shook.

Griffin’s speech at the church was part of Pastor Kerry’s Faith and Sports Series, which features professional athletes discussing their faith.

Other athletes featured in the series include baseball player Lance Berkman and former Dallas Cowboy football player Herschel Walker.

The Woodlands Church is located at 1 Fellowship Drive in the Woodlands.
