Magnolia students qualify for state BPA competition
Two Magnolia High School students have advanced to the Business Professionals of America 2012 State Leadership Conference.
Two Magnolia High School students have advanced to the Business Professionals of America 2012 State Leadership Conference.
At the regional conference in late January, Bethany Mandrell took first place in payroll accounting, and Morgan Arfele took third in desktop publishing. They will join more than 2,500 other qualifiers Feb. 29 to March 3 in Dallas.
Other top Magnolia finishers include Courtney Canaday, who took fourth place in fundamental word processing, Lexi Cyprus, who took fourth in fundamental spreadsheet, and Dylan Wood, the fourth place winner for extemporaneous speech. Kayli Vohra took sixth place in keyboarding production.
