In 2011, the Pavilion had eight sold-out shows, including Arcade Fire on May 4, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band on May 5, Stevie Nicks on Aug. 13, 94.5 The Buzz/Bud Light Weenie Roast on Aug. 28, Kid Rock with Sheryl Crow on Sept. 3, Maroon 5 and Train on Sept. 24, Journey with Foreigner and Night Ranger on Sept. 25 and Buzzfest XXVII on Oct. 22.
“We are fortunate to be located in a strong market and have as our partner Live Nation, the number-one concert promoter in the world,” said Jerry MacDonald, president and CEO of The Pavilion, in a press release. “The venue itself, its location and our staff also contribute to our success.”
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is located at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive in The Woodlands.
