Woodlands resident accuses Spring hospital of improper care
The Woodlands resident is suing after, she says, a health care facility in Spring failed to properly care for a patient.
Woodlands resident Alexis Peralta, on behalf of Sigrid Herman, filed a lawsuit on Nov. 2 in the Harris County District Court against Texas Cypress Creek Hospital, in Spring, citing negligence.
Peralta says after Herman was admitted to Texas Cypress Creek Hospital, located at 17750 Cali Drive in Spring, she sustained serious injuries after the staff’s negligence allowed her to fall numerous times. Her worsening condition caused her to be transferred to Northwest Medical Center, where staff diagnosed her with a hematoma and seizures, according to the brief.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages and court costs. They are being represented in the case by Houston attorney Randall Sorrels.
