ORWALL District 28 Big League All Stars lose heart breaker, must win three in a row to stay alive
Head Coach Doug Sarant's ORWALL District 28 Big League All Stars lost 14-12 to Louisiana District 5 Saturday.
“Insanity,” said Coach Sarant, “We lost, but it was a very exciting game. We were down 13-6 starting the top of the sixth. We scored six runs to make it 13-12. They scored one in bottom of the sixth, and we were down 14-12.”
The Big League All Stars must now beat Louisiana District 2 at 6 p.m. on Saturday for the right to play Louisiana District 5 again. If the Big League All Stars can win those two games and the one that follows, they will win the South West Regionals and make it to the Big League World Series, July 27 to Aug. 4, in Easley, S.C.
