Montgomery County United Way seeks sock and underwear donations

Dr. Sam Faysal of Dynamic Health and Wellness in Conroe will host the seventh annual "Socks & Undies Drive."

This year, Montgomery County Emergency Assistance will receive the “Socks & Undies” to be distributed to area youth who need help with back to school clothing.

“When some kids start to school and they are wearing hand-me-down clothing from older siblings or from area re-sale shops, it is nice to get new clothing basics, socks and underwear,” said Dr. Faysal. “That’s why we started the drive.”  

Donations can be dropped off at Dynamic Health and Wellness, located at 2107 West Davis, Ste. 6. For hours, call 936-756-1651.

Donations will also be accepted at Montgomery County United Way offices, located at 1600 Lake Front Circle, Suite 248 in The Woodlands or 731 W. Davis in Conroe. Each office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The “Socks & Undies Drive” will end Sunday, July 31.

Dr. Faysal is providing a free chiropractic adjustment with each donation of new underwear or socks for children aged 5 to 12. Some restrictions will apply.
