Subcontractor sues Cy-Fair company over Woodlands, Baytown projects
A subcontractor is suing a Cy-Fair-area construction company over work performed on projects in Baytown and The Woodlands.
Roadsafe Traffic Systems filed a lawsuit on June 21 in Harris County District Court against South Coast Construction Co., of Cy-Fair, citing breach of contract.
Roadsafe says that on March 18, 2009, it agreed, as South Coast’s subcontractors, to provide materials, labor, tools, equipment and supplies on projects in Harris County, including Baytown’s Goose Creek Pedestrian Pathway and The Woodlands Parkway.
According to the brief, South Coast breached this agreement by failing to pay Roadside Traffic $38,981.99 for the services it provided on these projects.
Roadsafe Traffic Systems is seeking $38,981.99 in damages, plus attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by El Paso attorney Stephen Nickey.
