Heart Ball fundraiser to be held in The Woodlands Feb. 19
The American Heart Association's annual Montgomery County Heart Ball will take place on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.
The theme for this year’s ball is "Bling for the Heart" and will include a fundraising opportunity, Diamond District, where guests can play a variety of carnival-themed games to win prizes.
Cocktails and the Diamond District games begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a live auction, dinner and dancing at 8 p.m. Carol Garner and Soly Lachterman will serve as co-chairmen for the event. This year's gala will honor Judy and Glenn Smith.
Proceeds benefit the American Heart Association's Montgomery County Division and support lifesaving research and educational programs to fight cardiovascular disease and stroke.
Individual tickets are $300, and event sponsorships are still available ranging from $1,000 to $40,000.
The Woodlands Waterway Marriott is located at 1601 Lake Robbins Drive in The Woodlands.
