Cooper's Coleman will play tennis at Johns Hopkins next year

The John Cooper School senior and Texas state ranked No. 15 girls tennis player Kaitlyn Coleman has committed to play next year for Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

She has played USTA Texas Section Super Champ Monthly Major Zone Level Tournaments in G12's, G14's, G16's and now G18's.

Coleman was a team captain last season and led Cooper to fifth place in division 1 of the Southwestern Prepatory Conference (SPC).

She has been an All-SPC selection three consecutive years and is a recipient of Cooper’s Dragon Award for perseverance and dedication to the team.

Tennis Recruiting Network ranks her No. 298 nationally.

Coleman is coached year-round by Cody Conley at the Houston Tennis Academy.

Conley played No.1 singles and doubles for the University of Louisville and ranked among the top 50 for Division I singles, and top 10 in doubles.
