Spa marks anniversary event

Sedona Fitness & Spa celebrated its 3rd Anniversary in a style indicative of its culturecatering to and pampering its customers. The evening celebration included free skin care analysis, aromatherapy foot baths, spray tans, chair and reflexology massages, in addition to offering specials on all the previously mentioned services.
The spa, conceived by Shari and John Roberts, has embraced the concept of continuous improvement and exceeding customers' expectations since opening its doors in the fall of 2007. The most recent example was the upgrading of their workout circuit with new state-of-the-art equipment. Their previous equipment inventory was donated to Reaching Pines, the Montgomery County Women's Center's transitional housing community. Just one more example of how the Roberts want to ensure that all women have the opportunity to achieve a healthy body.
The highlight of the anniversary party was the featured speaker, Stacy Harris, of Stacy Harris Images, image consultant and the most sought-after speaker at women's conferences and networking events. She presented an abridged version of her Inner Confidence-Outer Style Seminar which included her own Top 10 lists of dos and don'ts of style. Half-way through the presentation I realized that it was so much more than accenting the positive and camouflaging the negativeoutwardly. It was a behavior modification, self-esteem development, reinventing yourself, attitude adjustment guideline, which would work for both genders. In addition to a workout circuit, Sedona offers a wide array of specialty classes which include yoga, stretching, cardio work, muscle-toning, dancing, and boot camps. The value-added services include personal coaching, massages, facials, tanning, and the revolutionary infrared saunas (they have three).
