Valentine's Day weekend is traditionally a time for expressions of love. But what happens when those expressions are paired with the creative muse? To find out, come to Betz Art Gallery on Friday, Feb. 12, from 6-9 p.m., and experience "The Art of Love."
Visitors can enjoy champagne and strawberries as they view the work of three of Houston's most vibrant and passionate artists. Heights resident Jonatan Lopez articulates his passion with metal sculptures of hearts and flowers while Deer Park maestra Julie Zarate's work is full of intensity with bold portraits. And Montrose artist and gallery owner Lori Betz's contemporary abstracts display a diversity unmatched in the Houston art community.
In addition to the dazzling art on view, visitors may also select handcrafted designer jewelry for that special gift for loved ones.
