published Jul. 19, 2012

Dr. Imran Fayaz of The Brain and Spine Institute of North Houston recently hosted the “Meet the New Members” reception on behalf of the Woodlands South Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.

x According to a press release, more than 100 guests attended the gathering at Fayaz’s office, located at 1111 Medical Plaza, and enjoyed networking, hors d’oeuvres and prizes while mingling with the new members and meeting Fayaz’s staff.

x “We were very pleased and honored to host the chamber’s new member reception and have the opportunity to showcase our practice office," Fayaz said. "It is important to be a part of the community and to be actively involved and network. We look forward to continuing our commitment to the community through participation in business events and by supporting local charitable organizations.”

x Fayaz treats patients who suffer stroke, tumor or trauma and other brain diseases, as well as spinal ailments such as neck and back pain.

x “With Dr. Fayaz having recently joined our chamber at one of the higher levels, we were so excited when he graciously offered to host our new member reception so soon after becoming a member,” said Chamber CEO and President Karen L. Hoylman. “We appreciate the commitment and hospitality by everyone at The Brain and Spine Institute of North Houston.”

x Fayaz is also a diplomat of the American Board of Neurological Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

x He founded the Brain and Spine Institute of North Houston in 2009, which supports the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society and the Montgomery County Women’s Center.
