The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has a new weapon in its fight against drunken driving: a half-taxi, half-patrol car offering a one-way ticket to jail. The new, fully equipped patrol car is being used during stepped up drunken driving enforcement in the county. It will be used year round by the sheriff’s office in their pursuit of impaired drivers.
